Last updated October 17, 2026

The Porch is a local board for Murfreesboro, Tennessee, run by This is 37, LLC. These terms are the agreement between you and The Porch when you use the website at jointheporch.com or The Porch app on iPhone or Android. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use The Porch.

Zero tolerance for abuse

The Porch is for neighbors. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. That means none of the following, anywhere on The Porch, including posts, comments, events, profiles, photos and messages:

Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the member who posted it can be suspended or removed from The Porch without notice. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Keeping it safe

Your account

You need to be at least 18 to join. Use your real name, keep your sign-in to yourself, and you are responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app or on the website, and that removes your profile and everything you posted.

What you post

You own what you post. By posting it, you give The Porch permission to show it to other members and to display it on the board, so the service can work. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you post, including photos of other people.

Cost

Joining and using The Porch is free. If paid extras are ever added, the price will be shown clearly before you are asked to pay, and nothing you already use will start charging you on its own.

Events on the board

Some events are gathered from public local calendars and some are posted by members. The Porch doesn't run these events and can't promise they happen as listed. Check with the host before you go.

The app stores

If you use The Porch app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and This is 37, LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for The Porch or its content and have no duty to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

The legal part

The Porch is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, This is 37, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for what members post or do. These terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee. If they change in a way that matters, you'll be asked to agree again before you keep using The Porch.
